The BTS Community is a private clubhouse for TGJ members. Treat it like you would a good clubhouse: friendly, generous and honest. Members act in good faith, and that's what makes it worth showing up.
The basics
- Be respectful. Debate courses, architecture and equipment all you like. Don't make it personal. No harassment, hate speech, threats or discriminatory language.
- Use your real name if you can. We encourage it because it builds genuine connections, but do what feels comfortable as long as you act in good faith.
- Keep it on topic. Post in the space that fits. Chapter plans go in your chapter, gear questions go in the gear or classifieds space, and so on.
- No spam or unsolicited selling. Buying, selling and trading belong in the classifieds space only. No affiliate links, MLM pitches or repeated self-promotion.
- Protect privacy. Don't share another member's personal information, private messages or photos without their permission. What's said in the community stays in the community, so please don't screenshot and share member posts outside the app.
- Respect content. Members-only TGJ videos, features and recordings are for members. Please don't re-post them publicly.
Direct messages
DMs are for genuine member-to-member conversation, like setting up a game or following up on a post. Don't send unsolicited sales pitches or keep messaging someone who hasn't replied.
Moderation
The TGJ community team moderates the BTS Community. We may edit or remove posts, and suspend or remove access for members who break these guidelines, in line with our Event Bylaws on unbecoming conduct. Our decisions are final.
